รายละเอียดบริการ

Our HIV-1 PCR (Qualitative) is a lab-based molecular test designed to detect the presence of HIV-1 viral genetic material in the blood. This test is highly sensitive and may help support earlier detection compared with antibody-based screening in certain situations, depending on timing and clinical context.

It is suitable for individuals who may require more specific follow-up testing, including those with recent high-risk exposure, unclear screening results, or when advised by a doctor. This test reports whether HIV-1 is detected or not detected, rather than measuring the amount of virus.

Testing is performed in a safe and confidential clinical setting, offering a discreet and reliable option for more advanced HIV screening.

*Price excludes doctor fees.

คำถามที่พบบ่อย

What types of STD screening do you offer?

We offer a range of STD screening options, including blood tests, rapid tests, and PCR-based testing, depending on the infection being checked and your individual needs.

What is the window period for HIV testing?

HIV has a window period, which is the time after exposure when the virus may be present but not yet reliably detected by testing. Because of this, testing too early may lead to a false negative result. As a general guide, 3rd generation HIV antibody tests usually have a window period of 23 to 90 days, while HIV PCR / NAT tests can usually detect infection earlier, around 10 to 33 days after exposure. If you may have had a recent exposure, our team can advise on the most suitable test and whether repeat testing is needed.

Is my personal information kept confidential?

Yes. Your privacy is very important to us, and all consultations, test results, and personal information are handled with strict confidentiality.

What happens if my results are positive?

If a result is positive, our medical team will guide you through the next steps, including explanation of the result, treatment options, and any follow-up care that may be needed.

Can I get screened without symptoms?

Yes. Many STDs do not cause noticeable symptoms, so screening is often recommended even if you feel completely well.

When will my results be ready?

Result timing depends on the type of test. Some tests may be available quickly, while others can take a few days. Our team will let you know the expected turnaround time before your appointment.

How should I prepare for my test?

Preparation depends on the type of screening you are having. In some cases, you may be advised to avoid urinating for a period beforehand or follow other simple instructions, which our team will inform you about before your visit.
